Terms of Use
The conditions and practical limits of using Convertly.
Last updated:
The service
Convertly provides browser-based tools for converting images, audio, video and PDFs, resizing and compressing images, and creating ZIP archives. Account features are separate from file processing. The current tools are free to use; no subscription or payment system is offered.
Using your files responsibly
Only process files you own or have permission to use. You are responsible for the content you choose, your permissions and your use of the output. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, to infringe others' rights, distribute malware, attack infrastructure, bypass access controls or interfere with other users. Public URL imports must be authorized by the source owner.
Practical limits
The interface limits files to 100 MB each and 20 files per batch. Format support depends on the selected tool, browser, device memory and available codecs. Some conversions may fail, lose quality or metadata, or produce an output that differs from the original. Office and ebook conversion and a server-based conversion API are not part of the current service.
Keep your originals, check each result before relying on it, and download any results you want to keep before leaving the page. Convertly is not a file backup or storage service.
Your account
Provide accurate registration details and protect your password and device. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not impersonate another person or attempt to access another account. Google sign-in and password recovery email are not currently enabled. Do not rely on an unavailable recovery feature to regain access.
Your content and our software
You retain your rights in your files and conversion results. Local conversion does not give Convertly ownership of your content. The website's software, branding and design remain subject to their applicable ownership and licenses. Third-party libraries retain their licenses; notices are included with the software distribution. Do not remove license notices when redistributing licensed code.
Availability and third parties
The service may change, be interrupted or become unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons. External file hosts and cloud services control their own availability and terms. Convertly does not guarantee a particular file format, codec, conversion result or uninterrupted access.
Responsibility and your legal rights
The tools are provided as available, without a promise that every output will be accurate or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Convertly disclaims implied warranties and liability for losses arising from unavailable service, failed conversions or loss of files. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Privacy
Read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy to understand the difference between local conversion and server-based account or security information.
Changes and operator contact
We will update these terms and their revision date when the service changes. Convertly is operated by Blueapps LLC. For questions about these terms or the service, email [email protected].
